We’re hoping that our supporters will collect all their loose change in the boxes to help raise money for Epilepsy Action. Instead of putting all your coppers in a jar in the kitchen put them in your home money box instead!

The Epilepsy Action home money boxes have been specially designed so that they can be folded flat and sent in the post. The boxes are also easy to put together – just fold along the creases and tuck in the flaps.

To give you an idea of how much money we could raise, we've worked out that if all our members saved just 1p a day for a year, we'd raise a fantastic £84,000 for Epilepsy Action!

What could £84,000 do for people with epilepsy?

Below are just a few examples of how your small change will help us to make a positive difference to the lives of people affected by epilepsy.

£84,000 could fund 10,500 calls to our Freephone Helpline

It costs £8 to help each person that calls our Freephone Helpline. Our trained Helpline advisers help over 25,000 people each year. We would like to answer more calls so that we can give people the information, advice and support they need.

£84,000 could provide the training and support for 186 Accredited Volunteers

Our national network of Accredited Volunteers provide valuable one–to–one support, advice and information for people with epilepsy, their families and carers. At the moment we have 69 Accredited Volunteers, but we would like to extend this training so that we can provide this valuable service to even more people.

£84,000 could fund 3 new Sapphire Nurses

Since 1995 we have raised enough money to place over 50 epilepsy specialist Sapphire Nurses in hospitals around the UK. Our Sapphire Nurses help to improve the diagnosis, treatment and care for people with epilepsy. However, we need more Sapphire Nurses so that we can help more people with epilepsy.
Once you have filled your money box all you have to do is count the money you have saved and send us a cheque or postal order. Please include a note to say that the money collected is for the Home Money Box fund.
