Epilepsy Action is working to provide a better future for all people living with epilepsy. While we are responding to the needs of people today, we also need to be confident that the needs of future generations will be met

There are a number of ways you can help us to achieve this.

Honouring a loved one

Posting your donation to us: If you would like to make a donation to Epilepsy Action in memory of a loved one, please provide their full name and the date of death with each gift and send them to us here at Epilepsy Action. We will then be able to keep the next of kin informed of the total in memory donation. We will also send a thank you note to each donor and a hand-written card to the next of kin.

Online secure donations: We also offer friends, relatives and colleagues the chance to donate online securely. You can choose to give single donations or monthly gifts by Direct Debit and you can take advantage of Gift Aid to make contributions worth an extra 28p for each £1 donation. Direct Debit and Gift Aid are only available to UK residents. Donations online can also be made by setting up a tribute page.

Through the funeral director: Gifts to Epilepsy Action in memory of a loved one may be arranged through your funeral director. They will then send the donations directly to us and we will send a hand written card to the next of kin.

Donations in place of flowers at a funeral: If you are arranging a funeral and would like to advise people to make a donation in place of flowers, you can do so through your funeral director or we can provide you with collection envelopes. The envelopes would enable us to claim Gift Aid, which is an extra 28p for each £1 donation for any donors who are UK taxpayers.

Tribute pages

If you would like to raise donations in lasting memory of the life of your loved one, why not consider starting a tribute fund on behalf of Epilepsy Action. An online tribute is a great way for friends and family to commemorate, celebrate or simply remember someone special whilst also having the opportunity to raise donations online and securely, for Epilepsy Action.

We have teamed up with two websites, giving you a choice when setting up your personalised tribute fund:

Inmemorygiving.com helps friends and family celebrate the life of a loved one through charitable giving. Donating via this website is straight forward, secure and ensures that 100 per cent of your donation is passed on to Epilepsy Action. Inmemorygiving.com is a not-for-profit organisation. Instructions for your will

If you would like Epilepsy Action to receive in-memory donations when you die, all you need to do is complete the form below and keep it with your will. Remember not to attach anything to your actual will as this may invalidate it.
