The MHRA have made us aware of a recall issued for lamotrigine 10mg/ml oral suspension made by Desitin Pharma.
This recall is a precautionary measure affecting all batches of Desitin Pharma lamotrigine 10mg/ml oral suspension only.
It’s possible that some doses may have too little lamotrigine in them and some doses may have too much.
If you have been given this version of lamotrigine, your doctor or pharmacist should contact you. You can contact them if this hasn’t happened yet.
In the meantime, the MHRA say that you should keep taking your medicine as prescribed.
This recall is only for lamotrigine 10mg/ml oral suspension made by Desitin Pharma. No other versions of lamotrigine are affected by this recall.
