Bradford 10k participants in BradfordEpilepsy Action’s Bradford 10k will return for its 15th year on 1 June 2025, after a year’s break. The event returns next year with a new summer re-vamp.

The foot race was postponed for 2024 around major restructuring work in the city.

However, signups are now open for 2025 and there is a discounted cost for affiliated runners.

Louise McCormick, Bradford 10k race director at Epilepsy Action, said: “We are so excited for this special race to make its return and we can’t wait to welcome back Bradford 10k runners, old and new, to smash their goals and make a difference.

“Every step they take will be helping to raise vital funds to support the 630,000 people across the UK affected by epilepsy, so please bring along your friends and family and let’s make the race one to remember!

“The return of the Bradford 10k is especially meaningful this year as we celebrate the 75th anniversary year of Epilepsy Action. We hope that this year’s race will come back bigger and better than ever.”

Epilepsy Action’s iconic running event launched in 2008. Since then, over £600,000 has been raised by participants, with over 16,000 runners crossing the finish line in Centenary Square.

The current course record is held by Tesfaye Debele, who ran the 10k in 31:02 minutes in 2013.

The closing date for applications is 25 May 2025.
