We fight to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Daisy O'Leary

I’m Daisy, I’m 10 years old and was recently diagnosed with absence seizures.

Having epilepsy is really hard, especially when you're a child since you can’t do as many things on your own as your friends.

The good thing is that people are aware of me and I feel really proud to be different.

At one point in your life u will be different but that doesn’t matter because you're all different.

I first had a seizure on a school trip, I just stood still and didn’t walk, which was really embarrassing, but later people realised that I was different to everyone and my friends stood by my side.

That’s my story.
