We fight to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

For about 3 years now I have been having de ja vu episodes which last for a few seconds and fill me with terror when they happen.

If anyone is familiar with the Harry Potter books and the dementors then this is like a visit from them. The de ja vu is accompanied with fear. I am left feeling sick, fatigued and have to lie down for the rest of the day.

I've had the usual epilepsy test and all were negative and so far they are put down to stress! Normally a de ja vu is a pleasant experience of a childhood memory maybe - but not these. Can anyone else comment on this please.
