Accord have told us that Accord lamotrigine 25mg and 50mg tablets are now in stock.

The 100mg and 200mg strength tablets continue to be out of stock. Accord were not able to tell us when they expect them to be back in stock.

Accord have provided a further update on the supply of Accord lamotrigine tablets.

They have told us that they are out of stock of 25mg, 50mg,100mg and 200mg with an estimated return date of all strengths of August 2024.

Accord have provided a further update on the supply of Accord lamotrigine tablets.

The position is unchanged from our update on 12th December 2023.

Accord have an estimated return date of April 2024 for 50mg, 100mg and 200mg.

Lamotrigine 25mg tablets made by Accord are currently long term unavailable. Accord cannot confirm when they will be back in stock.

Update on 25 September 2023

Accord have provided an update on supply of Accord lamotrigine tablets. They have told us that supplies of all strengths of Accord lamotrigine are very limited and stock is currently only available to hospitals and hospital outpatient pharmacies.

Accord said that supply of Accord lamotrigine tablets will not be available to community pharmacies and they haven’t been able to tell us when they expect stock to return to normal.

Your pharmacist may offer you a different version of lamotrigine. For most people it’s safer to take a different version of their medicine than to run out and stop taking medicine suddenly.

Update on 18 September 2023 

Lamotrigine 25mg tablets made by Accord are now back in stock, but are currently only available with one wholesaler, Mawdsleys.

Your pharmacy should be able to confirm if they are able to order stock from Mawdsleys.

Accord have confirmed to us that their lamotrigine 50mg and 100mg tablets are in stock. Other manufacturers version of lamotrigine are also available.
