Epilepsy Action has launched its first TV campaign, going live today (28 June). The ad campaign features Epilepsy Action’s first aid video on what to do if someone has a tonic-clonic seizure.
The CARE video was first shared on YouTube and social media in May 2023 as part of the organisation’s first aid campaign. Now, Epilepsy Action has adapted this for TV and is raising wider public awareness of epilepsy and tonic-clonic seizure first aid.
You can catch the ad from 28 June to 26 July across channels including More 4, Brit Asia TV, Quest Red, W, Sky Nature, Sky Arts 1 and Alibi.
You can also text CARE to 70800 to donate £5 and get your seizure first aid card.
A national poster campaign will also be going live from the beginning of July, with posters popping up around UK high streets, also sharing the tonic-clonic seizure first-aid information.
Epilepsy Action director of communications and digital, Jon Eaton, said: “When we launched the first aid campaign last year, so many of you told us you wanted to see it on TV. So, we listened, and we’re really excited to have this opportunity to raise so much more awareness of first aid for tonic-clonic seizures.”
If you spot the ad on TV or the poster on your local high street, snap a photo and tag us on social media – we’d love to see them!
