Now we have finally hit February, we find ourselves reflecting on the achievements the groups team and volunteers had during December and January!
We successfully launched a group in Nottingham, where we had 19 people at the first meeting. They all came together to share their experiences of living with epilepsy, or caring for someone with epilepsy.
We have also been working on an exciting new plan for our virtual groups. This has been led by feedback and input from the people who use our groups. It will also help us work towards our overall strategy. We can’t wait to share this with everyone!

Positive stories
One of our group members has been joining the virtual talk and support groups since 2022. They would often sit and listen to others talking and rarely engage with the conversation. As time went by, they began to play a more active role in the groups.
Recently, at the end of a group, they stayed on to feed back that the group had changed their life. They are now more open with others and want to talk and share their experiences. They come away from the groups feeling ‘really happy and bubbly’!
