What would you like to do?
What are the awards for?
The Epilepsy Stars awards give people from across the Epilepsy Action community the chance to celebrate their unsung heroes and tell the world the difference they’ve made.
Each month, with the help of your nominations, our top epilepsy star award-winner is announced.
Who can be nominated?
They could be a stranger who helped you during a seizure, a teacher who went above and beyond, a fundraiser who conquered an epic challenge or a friend who’s showed their steadfast support.
Whatever the reason, we want to hear from you.
How can I nominate?
Fill out the form below to nominate your epilepsy star. You can nominate an individual or an organisation.
Alternatively, you can make a video nomination. Just chat to camera about why you think the person or organisation is worthy of an award. Upload your video to Vimeo or YouTube and share the link in the form below, or send your video directly to our WhatsApp on 07823 558 569

Our judging criteria is explained here along with some handy hints for writing your submission.
Please nominate your Epilepsy Star using the form below and contact press@epilepsy.org.uk if you have any questions.
-
What will happen if my nomination is chosen as an Epilepsy Star winner of the month?
We are really keen to share inspiring and moving stories to recognise people who make a real difference to people affected by epilepsy. If your nomination is chosen as our star story of the month, we would love to share it with our Epilepsy Action community – on our social media channels, our website, Epilepsy Today magazine as well as in the media. Please make sure the person or organisation you’re nominating is willing to have their story shared. If you have any questions, please get in touch with our press team beforehand.
-
What happens if my nomination doesn’t get picked as a winner?
Our judging panel will look at all the nominations we get each month and pick one Epilepsy Star winner to celebrate. If your nomination isn’t successful that month, we will roll it forward to the next month to consider along with other nominations. We also have many other ways we can share success stories beyond the awards, so our press and media team will be in touch with you to discuss the best way we can help with this.
