1. Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 18 years old on race day.
2. Charity Place Commitment: By accepting a charity place from Epilepsy Action, you agree to pay a £35 registration fee (inc. VAT) and raise a minimum of £750 (excluding Gift Aid) by 8 November 2025.
3. Fundraising Milestones: You are required to reach £300 by 31 July 2025. Whilst every effort will be made to help you reach this target, Epilepsy Action reserves the right to reallocate your charity place if there is no fundraising progress made before this point.
4. Final Sponsorship Payment: All remaining sponsorship must be paid to Epilepsy Action by 8 November 2025. You are responsible for any shortfall in the minimum sponsorship amount.
5. Non-Refundable Registration Fee: The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
6. Withdrawal Notification: Notify Epilepsy Action at events@epilepsy.org.uk if you wish to withdraw your charity place.
7. Injury and Deferral: If injured, you may apply to defer your entry to the next year’s marathon subject to availability and a one-time deferral. Accumulated sponsorship will carry over to the next year’s event.
8. Non-Finishers: Participants who start but do not finish the marathon are still liable to meet the minimum sponsorship amount and are not eligible for deferral.
