The race
Passing some of the most iconic and beautiful landmarks Edinburgh has to offer, including the Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile, this 26.2 mile route certainly won’t disappoint.
This route is fast and flat, and offers the most picturesque views along the East Lothian coastline!
Join Team Epilepsy Action for one of the UK’s biggest running festivals and make a difference for people living with epilepsy.

Joe took part in the Edinburgh Marathon in memory of his sister, Jamie.
“I took part in the Edinburgh Marathon to help make a difference for others affected by epilepsy. What an experience getting to the finish line knowing all the hard work and fundraising has paid off and knowing my sister would be so proud”
